12 Wonderful hotel based cycling routes to every corner of Brittany
This page is designed to give you guidance as to what cycling holiday might suit you best - BUT! it is no substitute for a personal email to us, we fully expect customers to email before they book in order to discuss their needs - we are the most personal cycling holiday company in the business so take advantage of it:-)
With these tours you carry your own luggage - which takes no extra effort! see FAQ and if that is a worry there's always the E-Bike option to take the strain. Please note that routes may vary slightly from described due to things like availability of hotels rooms, road closures etc. However the alternatives will be just as good... Each description also has a link to a Google Map which you can zoom in and out of and see terrain and satellite pictures.
The price includes your accommodation with en-suite facilities and continental breakfast. We don't include evening meals because if we did it would lose you the flexibility of eating where and when you wanted, but all hotels will provide an evening meal (or there's at least one nearby restaurant) for around e15-25 if you do wish to eat in.
A wriggle down the 'Rigole';-) - This is yet another way to explore East of us along cyclepaths – ludicrously easy, beautiful, quiet and lots to see;-) Max 18 miles average 12 miles.
- No Hills Adventure! (well only a few...) - A gentle meander on the cycleways of central Brittany - Maximum 30 miles – average 18 miles – very easy Also available as a Cycle-camping route
Over the years we've always offered a 'fixed-centre' hotel tour, as the local area is so good for cycling,
(Two versions each with various day rides up to 75 miles, and with a ride between hotels of 18 miles along the towpath or or 25 cross-country) - The first is very easy, and ideal for absolute beginners and those with children on their own bikes.
(Average 13 miles, longest day 19 miles. Easy terrain, lots on cyclepaths and very quiet lanes with short distances)
(Average 17, longest 28 miles/45 km - very easy to begin with and pretty easy thereafter) Very quiet roads and cyclepath.) Also available as a camping based cycling holiday - see also extended version below.
A gentle cycle to the beautiful North coast of Brittany - max 40 kms, a few hills but well worth the (small) effort! Also available as a Cycle-camping route
(Average 16 miles, longest day 24 miles) Probably the easiest way to get to the coast. It's not flat but rather gentle hills to help you burn off at least some calories (you won’t lose weight...).
(Average 23 miles, longest day 32 miles. Easy paced and varied) Carnac is probably one of the most famous monuments in France but the whole area is littered with Megalithic monuments, many of which you can walk round. Also available as a camping based tour.
(Average 23, longest 36 miles - the long day being almost 100% flat on cyclepath so easy!) vanishingly quiet even in August - a real exploration of the heart of Brittany.
Cycling holiday through the unspoilt heartland of Brittany - average 35 kms max 52 kms and moderate difficulty - well graded hills but some quite long. Also available as a camping tour

(Average 23, longest 34 miles - but can be shortened to 30 - just ask for the short version) Gorgeous, moderate cycling to the bustling port of Morlaix
(average 25, longest 40 miles) Odd name for a route until you see the beach at Le Pouldu - a beautiful spot that reminds me of the Cornish beaches of my childhood.
Most customers choose to combine two one-week tours to make up their fortnight riding - so that they can strike off in totally different directions.
